Product in powder form.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main dye component is indigotin &#8211; min 44%.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Use :<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\">Textile<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>dyeing<\/span><\/span><\/span><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>:<\/span><\/span><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>the indigo dye provides ranges of blue shades, from very clear to dark, with a very good lightfastness and washfastness. Its use in textile needs to turn it from an oxidized state (blue pigment, insoluble) to a reduced state (greenish yellow pigment, soluble) which will allow to fix on fibers before being again oxidized (by the oxygen of air \u2013 a magic step that develops the blue color). These reactions can be processed in natural vats by using our<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a title=\"Fructose syrup\" href=\"https:\/\/www.green-ingredients.com\/en\/boutique\/fructose-syrup\">fructose syrup<\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a title=\"Hydrated lime - calcium hydroxide\" href=\"https:\/\/www.green-ingredients.com\/en\/boutique\/hydrated-lime\">hydrated lime<\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>for instance (1-2-3 vat type) or by using a chemical reducing agent (sodium hydrosulphite or thiourea). The indigo can be easily combined with other dye extracts (yellow, red for example) to widen the pallet of shades (green, purple\u2026).<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Paintings, decoration, fine arts<\/span><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>: the indigo is<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\">then<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\">d<\/span><\/span><span id=\"tran0\"><\/span><span class=\"transpan\"><span id=\"tran0\">irectly used as a natural pigment, after homogenizing into the selected binder or medium.
