The plants are grown locally under organic conditions. The aerial parts are harvested and dried without heating energy (thanks to the hot air of the South of France in summer). This NEW natural orange powder dye is manufactured in our new extracting unit using revised processes and has its own characteristics.

100 % natural dye.
Thanks to its origin, it is adapted for cultivation in Mediterranean climate, where it can fully express its dye potential. Our organic farming practices contribute to keep plant and animal biodiversity, genetic diversity and, of course, to soil protection.

Main components : The main dye molecules are chalcones and aurones, family of flavonoids.

Uses :
Natural dyeing and textile printing : This extract can be used up to 20% WOF (mean use 5-10% WOF), depending on the depth of shade. It can be used on any kind of fiber and can be combined to any other natural dyes and mordants to provide a large range of orange shades. The shades obtained can vary depending on the pH. The most interesting shades are obtained at pH 4-7.

Fine arts, creative leisure & decoration : This extract also allows the manufacture of your own natural inks, your own pigment or coreopsis lacquer for fine painting, watercolor, oil… or for incorporation into materials.
